"Another beat on a famous street" -Matthew Fowler

I've had a continual interest in the beatnik lifestyle. The quintessential bohemian artist that doesn't care about anything. They smoke and drink and write poetry all day. Cool cats. I want to be an artist who creates something that makes somebody feel something. "I'd like to make you feel as I have felt before". I want to be like these great artists and legends that I look up to.

The last few lines in this song mention a "wise friend" who's "not a religious man". This refers to lyrics by Matthew Fowler. I remember hearing him sing these words and feeling something powerful. I wanted to quote him in this song because his statement resonated with me and fits the idea of this song. Thanks Matt!
